Service was prompt, patient and friendly but also ESL. In general , the food presentation was superior and tasted great. I thought the fish curry could have looked better with the fish skin removed and the curry was bland. My partner and I both had more than we could finish. Second best Indian food place in NJ!

I absolutely love this place! It's my 4th time here, and each visit has been consistently better, so I had to write a review. The plating and presentation are stunning, and the food is incredible. I don't get the usual acid reflux that I often experience at other Indian restaurants, which makes me think the ingredients are much fresher here. The quality is top-notch, and I really hope it stays that way--this place is a hidden gem for Delhi-style Indian food! The ambiance and service are the icing on the cake. The staff is attentive and polite, and the setting is perfect for a cozy night out or a special celebration.

Had an incredible experience at AArzuIndianModernBistro in Freehold, NJ! From the warm hospitality to the thoughtfully crafted new menu items, everything was a delight. The palak chaat, delicious chicken, tender lamb, and perfectly cooked shrimp were all bursting with flavor. Vegetarian friends will love the veggie dish, and the black sesame dessert was the perfect finish! Whether you're dining in for an intimate meal or celebrating something special, AArzu has a cozy private room and a spacious party room for larger gatherings. Highly recommend stopping by for a memorable meal!

Great ambiance, dim lightning, delectable cuisine, friendly staff and service, BYOB. The food is phenomenal and dishes are so presentable/very artistic plating. A bit pricier but totally justified for the taste , ambience and service they offer. We went on a Sunday evening without reservation, got seated right away and ordered Calcutta Gobi Manchurian, Palak Chaat, beetroot tikki for appetizers. For main course, we had Anjir kofta, Chicken Tikka Masala, lasooni dal and Achari Bhindi with assortment of breads. All dishes were very well plated and flavorful. My personal favorite was beetroot tikki, Palak chat, lasooni Dal and Achari Bhindi. Definitely recommend this place for a exquisite dining experience.

This has to be the best Indian cuisine I had in a long time. The food was so good!! The Beetroot Tikki was so good, I can eat beets here and there but this plate made me a fan of beets. The start was the dessert platter it had a little bit of everything plus it had the wow factor. The service was great very attentive. I went on the weekend for dinner service, I definitely recommend reservations if you don't want to wait. The place was packed. Ambiance was definitely there, I felt like you can come with friends and family or a date. I wouldn't overly dress up but definitely don't come in workout clothes. Street parking available and right next to it's a parking lot just remember to go on the app and pay or you will come out to a ticket. The food was good so I was not the mad about the ticket. I should have known better since you have to pay for parking everyone in NJ.

Has very good ambiance. Loved the mango Moscow mule. They have very interesting and yummy Indian fusion dishes. Absolutely loved the Beetroot Tikki and paneer papad roll. The Angeer Kofta was a very interesting welcoming twist on the typical malai kofta although slightly on the sweeter side because of the fig. The dessert platter was fun! Loved the orange Rind Kulfi and Ras Malai.

Once again, another fantastic meal. Hubby made our date night special with a 7:30p seating, we sat in the back seating area, which was a first for us, beautiful blue walls, little lamps on the tables for mood lighting and very pretty art work that really makes the dining area comfy. We ordered our appetizers and I have to say the Duck Confit tacos were absolutely delicious, So much so, that I told Hubby next, time, I am ordering my own and not sharing. He ordered the Smoked Butter Chicken -smoked tomato cream, chicken, fenugreek and I ordered the Lamb Roganjosh -braised lamb, caramelized onion, kashmiri spice blend- both dishes were perfect with our 2 orders of garlic naan (we don't share our naan) and our order of Palak Paneer- Cottage cheese, Creamy Spinach, really is fantastic. Service is always wonderful and the portions are really enough for the next days lunch, unless you are like us, and have it for breakfast with dippy eggs.

Overall, I'd give Aarzu 3.8 stars. We've been here multiple times for date nights and family birthdays and have always been welcomed by the great service and intimate atmosphere. We've tried a few small plates/appetizers/street foods, but our favorite is certainly the beetroot tikki - it's creamy and highly flavorful! The others we've tried were aesthetically pleasing; however, lacked in that punch of flavor I look for in Indian dishes. For entrees, I always get the bhatti ka paneer - classic! Our last visit, this dish was good, but lacked spice. If you're like me and need the spice, I'd recommend requesting it to be made spicy. On the other hand, the spicy guava drink - spicyyyy and AMAZING. I would keep coming back just for that drink!
